Clothing Market
With our friends at Panama Spanish School in town, we’ll be hosting regular clothing markets for the local community where your pre-loved items will be loved again by people who really need it. Make some space in your luggage and donate to us any good quality clothing and shoes you no longer wear. Kids and baby clothes and shoes are also great. The local kids will be responsible for managing the market day and gain valuable experience, where your items will be sold for small change.
Community Surf Lessons & BBQ
The sales from each clothing market will be put towards a community surf day where our surf coaches will give free surf lessons to the local kids and serve up hearty beach BBQ for everyone to enjoy.
English Education
For locals living in Santa Catalina, the ability to converse in English is a huge advantage since it opens up more employment opportunities for them. Our friends at Panama Spanish School offer a donation based ‘Conversation Table’ where locals and visitors can meet, converse, share and learn. All ages can participate. Themes are set for each conversation table along with an English and Spanish language sheet to help guide everyone. Even if you can’t speak a word of Spanish, your participation is still invaluable. Donations received go towards education equipment for Panama Spanish School’s English learning programs for locals. Conversation Tables happen every other week, check with us for their schedule.

Avoid single use plastic bottles by:
Providing a chilled water station for you to refill your water bottle
Providing a fixed wall supply of shampoo, conditioner and body wash in your showers versus single use mini-plastic bottles
