Accommodation and meals for our Waluaa Surf & Yoga Retreats are at a classic surf hotel located oceanfront of the world famous point break, La Punta, Santa Catalina. This incredible location is locally owned and has been home to our retreats and loved by our guests since since 2015.


We are a 12min walk to the town center for shops, cafes and dive centers. A 7min walk to Playa Estero, our main beach for surfing and swimming. (Though we do include a shuttle service to/from the beach for our surf lessons!).

From the restaurant social area and infinity pool, enjoy the most spectacular view of surfers at "La Punta” (The Point). Take out a SUP, kayak, swim or surf at high tide, and enjoy magical sunset drinks by the pool. Flow in our open air yoga studio with stunning ocean views. Relax in a hammock with a chilled coconut and good book, or grab a bike. and explore our charming local village and stunning beaches.

Classic Panamanian colonial style with a rustic charm provides the comfortable vibe you need to stay in tune with nature, kick back and relax.


All rooms, the yoga studio, restaurant and bar furniture have been built using natural, sustainable materials, much of it recycled from natural reserves and handmade. Including stone, rock, clay tile, and local tropical hardwoods. Preserving the environment while providing a blissful space for you to unwind after an amazing day of surf and yoga.
