We had never surfed and there’s a perfect beach for beginners just a five minute walk away. The beach was gorgeous, all sand and so much fun (no rocks, coral, riptides)! The retreat even filmed us with a GoPro and sent us footage of sunrise surf sessions.

Santa Catalina itself is one of the most peaceful places I’ve ever been and is definitely a place to revisit. My retreat was one of the only vacations I can think of where I returned home fully relaxed and rejuvenated and the seamless customer service had a lot to do with that. Regardless of your reasoning for wanting to get away and relax, you’ll be incredibly glad that you invested in this experience!
